Free Any Data Recovery 5.5

If you happen to delete any of your valuable photos, videos, or documents accidentally, Free Any Data Recovery offers you an efficient yet easy-to-use utility to identify any deleted or formatted file in a straightforward and stressless way. It scans any hard drive or USB storage device thoroughly and identifies all files susceptible of being recovered.

The program’s main menu offers you three recovery options and a fourth option with a tool to create IMG image files of any disk, partition, or USB device of your choice for backup purposes. This last option creates a sector-by-sector image file, including whatever bad sectors the selected drive may contain. Any of the three recovery solutions provided can scan and recover deleted files from any of these image files, just as easily as from any of your hard disks or external drives, including smart phones, digital cameras, memory cards, etc. They all follow the same procedure, which starts with a scan and ends with a list of all recoverable files found.

Deleted File Recovery performs a quick scan looking for deleted files whose sectors are still recoverable. If you wish to narrow the search to make the scan process even faster, you can click on the Advanced Scan tab and select only those filetypes or file extensions you want the program to scan looking for your lost files. Both the Formatted File Recovery and Deep Recovery options perform a much thorough scan – actually, a sector-by-sector scan – of the selected drive or device, useful for those files that have been formatted or deleted a long time ago. In all cases, a list of all recoverable files will be stored in the Recover File tab. Here you can select the file or files you wish to recover, and if you happen to have a registered copy of Any Data Recovery, you will be able to effectively bring your lost file back to life. So far, this Free version of the program barely scans your disks and identifies any recoverable file.
